What are the rules on soliciting customers away from current employer, if you do not have a contract?

-Common decency makes such action inappropriate. How would you feel if this was being done to you?It is unethical, but not illegal.



You can be fired without notice. If you were soliciting his customer's while you were being paid by him he could easily sue for damages and win.



Other than that you are fine.
i would not; the previous employer--if big enough--can keep you in courts for ages.
