Starting up my window cleaning business?

-Im wanting to start my business as soon as possible but have run into a problem. I have spent all my money on ficticious name, equipment, car magnetics, business cards, lisence, etc... and don't have the $175 down payment to put down for my general liability insurance. Can I just go around and get a bit of work first (only 1 story of course) and then pay for the insurance? Help and advice would be great, thanks!did you work 1-2 yrs for someone else in this biz first?
