Is this a good way to buy and get wholesale products cheaper and sell them on my website?

-so im starting a website for my online business that sell bulk size of glass pipes,water pipes,hookahs,ect



and i found alot of wholesale websites that sell REALLY cheap glass pipes,water pipes,hookahs,ect

and most of the websites require you to have a resale license and/or tax i.d number to buy from them but im getting one so thats not the roblem



the problem is is that none of them have free shipping and it will cost alot to ship thousands and thousands of dollars of products threw mail and ill lose money



but the websites tell me their address which most are in california and im from florida

also one in texas for a certain product



and i was wondering if this is a good way to get it

if me and one other person gets on a plane with the cheapest price and fly from florida to california and then when we get there, we rent a u-haul and goto 2 or 3 of the wholesale buyers places which is where they keep most of their product, and we show them a resale license and i buy enough to fill up a big truck to make up for the cost of the plane tickets, renting and driving a u haul back to florida and fuel.

and we drive across the country and stop in houston texas on the way back to florida and pick up more of a certain product thats cheap and i have like 50,000 dollars or so worth of product and drive it back to florida and store it in a storage unit and drop off the u-haul in the nearst u-haul store???



do you think it could work?
